Green smoothie bowl

Smoothies are great for packing a lot of vitamins into a small glass at once, and if you can pour that into a nice bowl then why not do that! Smoothie bowls are here to stay!

Some things never change, and one of those things is - eat your greens. It's such a great way to start your day, fill your tummy with healthy vegetables and vitamins and you'll have all the energy to save the world! If you haven't tried a smoothie bowl then I seriously think you're missing out, and we all know how afraid we all are of that. A smoothie bowl is more or less a normal smoothie made a bit thicker and poured into a yoghurt bowl. Top it with what ever you fancy - nuts, berries, coconut flakes, homemade granola and so on. It tastes great and looks divine. 

This smoothie bowl is made with kale, spinach and berries. It's filled with things your body needs everyday and it will give you a great boost of energy. You don't have to be afraid of the kale or spinach being dominant in taste, this particular smoothie bowl is very sweet and is really refreshing.


  • 50 g frozen spinach (if you prefer fresh just use a big handful)

  • a handful of Kale

  • 1 banana

  • 1/2 orange

  • 6-8 leaves of lemon balm

  • 1 dl of water

  • 1 dl of vegan yoghurt


  1. Start by squeezing the orange into a blender
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix until everything is smooth
  3. Pour into a bowl and top with fresh berries and coconut flakes
  4. Enjoy!

Smoothie bowls are a great way to mix things up and improve your breakfast game. It's surprisingly fun to eat a smoothie from a bowl and it's a perfect way to not get bored of drinking smoothies every morning, without losing any of the flavour or the ease of making a smoothie.
